GWX Flame-Retardant Polycarbonate Sheet is a high-safety engineering plastic sheet, manufactured from premium optical-grade or industrial-grade polycarbonate (PC) resin via advanced extrusion technology, integrated with high-efficiency flame-retardant additives (halogen-free or halogen-containing, optional) in the material matrix. It combines the inherent advantages of PC material—superior impact resistance, transparency, and weatherability—with excellent flame-retardant performance, effectively inhibiting combustion, delaying flame spread, and reducing smoke and toxic gas emission in case of fire.

Designed to meet strict fire safety standards, this product solves the flammability problem of standard PC sheets, providing reliable fire protection for buildings, electronic equipment, and public facilities.     Excellent Flame-Retardant Performance
    Adopts advanced flame-retardant technology, with flame-retardant grade up to UL94 V0 (the highest level for plastic sheets), and can also meet UL94 V2, V1, or other customized flame-retardant standards. It is self-extinguishing (self-extinguishing time ≤ 10 seconds), does not support combustion, effectively prevents flame spread, and reduces the risk of fire expansion. Halogen-free options are available, which emit less smoke and non-toxic gas during combustion, complying with environmental and safety requirements.

    While achieving excellent flame-retardant performance, it retains high light transmittance (up to 85%–92% for optical-grade), with clear vision, no obvious haze, no color distortion, and stable optical performance.     Based on high-quality PC substrate, it boasts exceptional toughness and impact resistance—up to 25–30 times stronger than acrylic (PMMA) and shatter-resistant. Even in high-temperature fire environments, it can maintain a certain structural integrity, avoiding fragmentation and falling, reducing secondary damage caused by fire.

    Maintains stable physical, chemical, and flame-retardant properties in a wide temperature range of –40°C to 120°C, without warping, cracking, yellowing, or degradation of flame-retardant performance under extreme high or low temperatures. It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor harsh environments, and can work stably in high-temperature equipment surroundings.

    Equipped with an optional UV protection layer, it can resist long-term outdoor UV radiation, avoiding yellowing, aging, or loss of performance.
